Maria Simon joined McCarron & Diess as an associate after graduation
from American University, Washington College of Law in 2007. While
in law school, she gained civil litigation experience by clerking
for a firm with a general practice in Washington, D.C. Maria also
gained litigation experience by representing victims of domestic
violence as a member of the Domestic Violence Clinic and as a Certified
Student Attorney prosecuting misdemeanor sex offense and domestic
violence cases in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District
of Columbia.
Maria was admitted to the bar of the State of
Maryland after obtaining the degree of Juris Doctor from American
University, Washington College of Law, cum laude, in 2007.
She is also admitted to the Bar of the Court of Appeals for the District
of Columbia and the federal district court bars for Maryland and
the Eastern District of Michigan.
